Juliana's birthday! We went out for pizza during lunch, and the school ordered a cake.
Class 6 of 11th Grade invited our students to be the judges for their English Play Competition.
Chef Jason taught us how to make little pumkins and Chinese pancakes. The dough of little pumpkins is made of pumpkin, potato, and glutinous rice flour. The stuffing is red bean paste. The stem is date, and the leaf is flour with spinach juice. After we made the Chinese pancakes, Jason rolled them up for us. There are stir-fried potato slices in each roll. Everyone enjoyed the roll so much.
We learned to use Chinese knots to make bracelets, key chains, necklaces, etc.
Catch the ball with one hand! If you miss, push-ups for boys and squats for girls. Tai chi again! We learned some new movements.
The calligraphy teacher can do three different styles. We practiced the basic style.
The music teacher has an amazing voice! She taught us the famous Chinese song "Jasmine". She told us that Celine Dion chose to sing this song when she performed in China.
